TV presenter Phil Spencer's mum and dad killed in crash after vehicle veered into river
dailyrecord.co.ukPhil Spencer 's parents were both tragically killed in a car crash on their family farm on Friday. The Location, Location, Location host's dad Richard, 89, and mum Anne, 82, both sadly passed away on Friday lunchtime when their car careered into a river.
The couple were making their way to the pub for lunch when their car veered off the access road into a shallow tributary river running through their estate in Kent, writes The Mirror.
Phil's co-presenter and friend Kirstie Allsopp has said he is comforted by the fact that his parents were together when they died.
Following the incident, emergency services including an air ambulance attended the scene. They were pulled from the car and taken to hospital but sadly Richard was pronounced dead and Anne died later.
