News anchor Kamie Roesler, who works on WIS-TV in the US, has been arrested on charges of aggravated assault after a row reportedly turned violent.
Kamie, 28, is accused of smashing a bottle over her male friend's head, leaving him with cuts on his face, during a fight over politics.
The Daily Mail reports Kamie was arrested in South Dakota on Sunday following the altercation in an outside area. The publication says police told them Kamie was sitting with a group of people around 4:30pm when she got into a row over politics with a 32-year-old man.
Sioux Falls Argus Leader reports the argument turned nasty and Kamie hit the man over the head with the bottle and left him with cuts on his face that may have required stitches.
