Joel Dommett has opened up on the “rollercoaster” ride that is parenting after he became a dad for the first time when he and wife Hannah Cooper welcomed baby son Wilde into the world last September.
The Masked Singer host, 39, explained how despite every day being “absolutely insane”, he has loved being a dad to his nine month old. “It really is like a rollercoaster in the way that when you're going up, you're so stressed, and then it gets to the top and then it goes over and you're like ‘this is the most fun I've ever had in my entire life and I love it so much,’” he told The Sun.
The dad-of-one also shone a light on the realities of looking after a newborn and revealed how making little Wilde laugh does, sadly, come with its downsides. “He loves when I chuck him above my head.
He loves it so much, and laughs so much. But also, it makes him vomit sometimes and it's really difficult for me because I love making him laugh, and then obviously I hate having his vomit in my mouth,” he explained.
