Lava from the eruption, which began on September 19, has so far destroyed at least 855 buildings and 19 miles of roads. As a result TUI has now had to cancel flights to the Spanish island until later next week.
However the airline told customers that travel to any other Canary Islands that our flights are currently operating as planned.
