Tributes to 'little angel' boy, 9, killed in German Christmas market attack

Heartfelt tributes have poured in for the nine year old boy who was tragically killed in the horrific Christmas market attack in Germany on Friday.

André Gleißner was killed after a man ploughed a black BMW rental car into a bustling crowd at the Magdeburg Christmas market just after 7pm on Friday night.

Alongside André, four women aged between 45 and 75 also lost their lives, with over 200 sustaining injuries, reports the Mirror.

André's heartbroken mother, Désirée, has now taken to Facebook to pay tribute to her "little teddy bear". She wrote: "Let my little teddy bear fly around the world again.
