Israeli fashion designer Alber Elbaz has died at the age of 59. If you’re in anyway interested in the world of fashion and design, there is no doubt you will have heard of the incredibly talented and respected Alber Elbaz.
Alber first began drawing dresses at the age of seven before turning his passion into a career and working at prestigious fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent and Guy Laroche.
In 2001, he landed his dream role as creative director at Lanvin, the oldest French fashion house, completely transforming the brand during his time there.
The fashion designer shockingly left Lanvin in 2014 after 13 years and was quite silent on the fashion front for many years.
