Trevor Noah showed off his comedic chops when he addressed Kanye West's ban from performing at the Grammy Awards in a tweet posted Sunday.'I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye,' wrote the 38-year-old comedian following news that West, 44, had been pulled from the ceremony's scheduled performances.West was barred from playing the Grammy's this year due to his harassing posts directed at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 41, her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, and even Noah, whom he called a 'k**n.' Speaking up: Trevor Noah, 38, wrote that he wanted to 'counsel' Kanye West, not 'cancel him, after the rapper was barred from performing at the Grammys over his 'concerning online behavior'; seen in September in LAAlthough Noah has publicly chastised the rapper for his behavior, a source close to the comedian told CNN on Sunday that he had nothing to do with West being yanked from the schedule.They also claimed he had not been in communication with Grammys producers or the Recording Academy about West.
