Trevor Moore was a comedian who was a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe “The Whitest Kids U’ Know.”In his teens, Moore had a sketch comedy show, “The Trevor Moore Show,” on local public access cable; it was picked up by Pax-TV for a brief run.
He went on to work as an intern at “Saturday Night Live” in college and later became a page at NBC. Moore co-founded “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” in 1999, with some fellow students at the School of Visual Arts.
The troupe began gaining acclaim, winning Best Sketch Group at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in 2006. They were picked up for TV by Fuse, where “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” ran for a season in 2007 before moving to the Independent Film Channel for an additional four seasons.
