Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been 'hospitalised for pancreatitis after colonoscopy', according to reports. The 46 year old husband of Kourtney Kardashian, 43, was pictured being rushed to hospital strapped to a gurney on Tuesday with his wife of one month by his side, after he cryptically tweeted: “God save me”.
Whilst there has been no official word from the famous family on the reason for Travis' hospitalisation, US news publication TMZ has reported that it was due to pancreatitis which was triggered by a recent colonoscopy.
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas and symptoms can include fever, nausea, rapid pulse and vomiting, amongst other things.
OK! has contacted Travis' representatives for comment. The Blink-182 star was spotted being lifted from an ambulance and wheeled inside Los Angeles-based hospital Cedars Sinai Medical Center with Kourtney walking alongside him in a black skull-printed tracksuit.TMZ reported that the rocker originally sought medical attention at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center, before it was deemed that he needed additional care at Cedars Sinai.Travis' 16 year old daughter, Alabama Barker, took to her Instagram stories to ask people to “send your prayers”.
