Three days of national strike on the railway network are set to go ahead this month. Tipped to be the biggest industrial action in the railway industry for decades, the strikes by railway workers will take place on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June.
An extremely limited rail service will operate on these three days and passengers have been advised to not travel by train and no rail replacement buses will be provided.
Those who are looking to travel on those days are being asked to plan ahead. Railway workers have voted overwhelmingly to strike in a bitter dispute over jobs, pay and conditions.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) at Network Rail and 15 train operators backed launching a campaign of industrial action.
