Stockport has built a garden bar after vowing to never be deprived of a pint after the first lockdown saw pubs and bars close.
But it’s not just any old DIY shed conversion as the trainer fanatic injected £5,000 into creating a bar modelled on the Adidas shoebox as a tribute to his 150-pair collection.
While pubs across England were ordered to close for the month-long second lockdown in November, John Clark, a huge Manchester City supporter, has continued to sip pints from the comfort of his make-shift pub whilst watching the games on TV.The 50-year-old, who lives in Woodley and runs a floor laying firm, said: “There’s even a dartboard in there.
