Train disruption as number of services between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe cancelled

A number of train services between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly have been affected this morning due to a technical fault.

Transport for Wales has said that there will be no services between the two stations this morning due to a signalling system error.

Scheduled journeys, which take place every hour, have been cancelled with disruption expected to last until the end of the day. Tickets for later Transport for Wales trains between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly today are currently unavailable to purchase.
