Police found the body of a man in woodland north of Bolton on Sunday night (April 14). A concern for welfare call was made to police at around 9.45pm.
Officers attended the scene, in a wooded area close to Edgworth and Turton, and tragically found a man, aged in his 50s, dead.
Lancashire Police have confirmed the death is being treated as non-suspicious. After the tragedy, the force said their thoughts 'are with his loved ones'.
A file will be prepared for the coroner once a post mortem has taken place.
