Yadira Calito, the nanny who worked for Katharine McPhee and David Foster for several years, tragically died in a freak accident last week at a Toyota dealership and now the company is speaking out.
An 84-year-old woman drove her car into the dealership’s customer reception area after accidentally hitting the gas instead of the brakes. Yadira was pinned under the car and dragged for 20 feet.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Two employees were injured in the accident. Katharine and David were in Asia at the time of the tragic incident and she left their tour early to rush home.
