TOWIE's Yazmin Oukhellou's mum 'jets to Turkey' as star seriously injured in horror crash

The devastated mum of Yazmin Oukhellou is reported to have flown out to Turkey to be by her daughter's bedside. The TOWIE star, 28, was left seriously injured in a horror car crash in Bodrum on Sunday that killed her on-off boyfriend Jake McLean.

Jake, 33, was understood to have been driving when he lost control of the vehicle and tragically died. Emergency services rushed to the scene but they were unable to save Jake, who was an ex of TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, while Yazmin was taken to hospital.

Yaz's mother is now making her way to Turkey to be with her daughter, writes the Mirror. A host of TOWIE stars took to social media last night to ask fans to keep her in their thoughts and prayers.

A source told MailOnline : "It's a complete tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin makes a full recovery." The Sun reports they had headed to Turkey for a holiday as Jake was in the country for a business deal.
