mirror.co.ukVas J Morgan has detailed how tokenism on TV led to him "hating" other black people who were up for the same jobs as him. The former TOWIE star, 31, rose to fame on the popular ITVBe show from 2014 to 2019, recently accused the ITV network of systematic racism.
The reality personality - real name is Savvas Morgan - says he often raised his concerns with producers during his time on the show, but that he was always ignored and he hit out at the broadcaster in a lengthy statement after being pushed over the edge by the way he was silenced in a debate.
Since Vas posted his statement he has revealed that ITV have reached out to him and shared that he is hopeful that change will happen.
