He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. The man, known as @marmarislovers on TikTok was stunned at the soaring costs at one of his favourite European holiday spots, reports the Mirror.Known for its bustling tourism in the summer, Marmaris and Turkey have seen a noticeable lull in tourists this year, with many sharing their thoughts on social mediaabout the noticeable downturn.It's been suggested by those who often travel to the resort that the unusual emptiness of the town is directly related to the steep price hikes that have hit tourists this season. @marmarislovers who appears to work in tourism, claims "Marmaris will have no tourists in 2025" in the viral clip.According to the content creator, the price of travelling to the area has proved too high for many.
Speaking of his dismay, he said: "This season has been so quiet, it's sad to see. Also 2025 has 15 per cent price increase again.
Vodka and coke already £15 alone. Can go Dubai for same price."His clip left viewers gobsmacked, with many unable to understand just how pricey Marmaris has become.
Whilst some agreed that they saw the rise in prices coming during their past stays, reports Birmingham Live. A woman said this trend "has been going on for 20 years" and has sworn off returning.
