Lanez had asked Judge David Herriford to release him on bail so he could live with his son and wife while his team work on his appeal.
However, Judge David Herriford denied the motion on Sept. 14, citing Lanez’s conviction for a violent felony, history of violating court orders, and foreign citizenship as contributing factors in the decision.
Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison earlier this year for shooting Megan, whose legal name is Megan Pete, in the feet after a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home in July 2020.
