Tory Lanez Handcuffed in Court After a Judge Rules He Violated Order in Megan Thee Stallion Case
justjared.comTory Lanez is in more legal trouble. The 29-year-old star was handcuffed in court and had his bail increased after a judge ruled he violated the protective order in his case with Megan Thee Stallion after talking about her on social media, via TMZ.
During his Tuesday hearing (April 5) in Los Angeles, he was once again placed into custody of the Sheriff’s Department. The judge set his bail at $350,000.
According to the outlet, he in the process of posting bail. The judge ruled that Tory‘s tweet, seemingly about Megan, was a violation of a protective order. (If you didn’t know, he previously wrote: “Good d–k had me f–king 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized for … it’s sick how u Spun it tho …” Prosecutors also raised concern about a tweet from DJ Akademiks, which read “BREAKING: It was revealed in court few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case.” They believe the information came from Tory‘s team.
However, his attorney Shawn Holley said that wasn’t possible, because the initial tweet was wrong: his DNA wasn’t on the magazine, and a sample from the gun was inconclusive.
