British ice skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean announced earlier today that they would be retiring from skating next year.

The news comes as they commemorate the 40th anniversary of their Olympic gold win. Today, the legendary skating pair have also confirmed details of a 2025 farewell tour which will skate into Manchester's AO Arena next May.

The duo were the Manchester venue's first show back in 1995. Torvill & Dean: Our Last Dance farewell tour will be the pairs last ever live tour and will travel across the UK, finishing at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on May 11.
