Top five England areas where coronavirus cases are still rising - see full list

mirror.co.ukCoronavirus cases are steadily falling everywhere but some key areas in the East Midlands and north of England. The latest figures show infection rates are particularly continuing to rise in five areas, despite case numbers declining elsewhere.
Of the 315 local areas in England, 16 have seen a rise in case rates, while 298 - or 95% - have seen a fall and one is unchanged.
But even among the areas with the highest infection rates, the numbers are significantly lower than the levels over Christmas when cases skyrocketed as lockdowns and the national vaccine rollout take effect.
