Tony Hawk is speaking out to deny that he was the guy that he called into the Los Angeles Police Commission’s Zoom meeting this week.
This meeting has been going viral after a citizen went on a passionate rant in which he slammed the department for the LAPD’s response to the protests and demanded that Chief Michel Moore resign.
At one point during the meeting, a caller named Tony Hawk spoke and fans thought it was the professional skateboarder. “This is bigger than some bad cops or protests, you have lost faith in the people of Los Angeles,” Tony said.
The famous Tony Hawk replied on Twitter and said, “Wasn’t me… I would have spoken more clearly and asked people to support @ColorOfChange before yielding my time.” Check it out below.
