On Thursday's Good Morning Britain, hosts Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh caught up with broadcasting legend Tony Blackburn as he marked an incredible 60 years on the air.The veteran DJ, now 81, shared his future plans and reflected on his long-standing career. As the chat wound down, Richard said: "You say you're going to carry on as long as Cliff Richard carries on?"Tony responded with a chuckle: "Well, I don't want to go on- I only want to go on when I think I'm doing it all right.

But, I'm not going to embarrass anybody by going on."Richard praised Tony, remarking that he was still as sharp as he was six decades ago.

Tony, started to reminisce about his journey since starting at 21, admitted: "I'm very lucky, I've enjoyed every moment of it.

I loved the pirate ships. I thought they were great. "To finish off after all this time touring with a Sound of the 60s theatre show and being on Radio Two after all these years, it's just amazing."The conversation took a light-hearted turn when Tony called out Richard after a comment on his age.
