Tony Adams has joined Martin Keown in questioning the decision to bring Martin Odegaard to Arsenal in the January window. Mikel Arteta opted to sign the Real Madrid star on-loan for the rest of the season.
After starting from the bench, the 22-year-old has become a regular in Arteta’s plans and has started four of the last five matches.
Keown has been a public critic of the decision to play Odegaard as a No.10 with Emile Smith Rowe being forced onto the left wing.
After initially claiming he had ‘reservations’ over the signing, he doubled down last week suggesting he was a “project” that the Gunners didn’t have time to complete. "Odegaard, I wouldn’t (start) because it’s almost another project which we haven’t got time for now.
