Tommy Fury has been handed a ‘fresh blow’ in the wake of his split from Molly-Mae Hague, losing almost 3,000 followers in the last 24 hours, to add to the many he's lost over the last 30 days.
The couple announced their shock split via separate Instagram statements, however, did not state the reasoning behind their breakup, and it looks like Tommy has lost followers since.
Social media analytics firm Coveragely has today released an analysis conducted using data from Social Blade, revealing a significant decline in Tommy's social media following over the past 30 days. The data, collected in the wake of the highly publicised split between Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, indicates a loss of over 20,000 followers across his social media platforms, which is said to be a “a considerable drop for an influencer of his calibre.” Commenting on the findings, Gareth Hoyle from Coveragely said, "The drop in Tommy's followers highlights the often unpredictable nature of social media and the influence of personal events on public perception.
In an industry where followers can directly translate to income, even a seemingly small decline can have a noticeable impact on an influencer’s earning potential. This case serves as a reminder of the volatility that public figures face in maintaining their social media presence." It’s said a loss of that amount of followers could equate to a potential loss of between £1,500 to £40,000 per sponsored post.
