Naman Ramachandran Deep C Digital has secured North American rights to “American Trash,” featuring one of the late Tom Sizemore‘s final performances.
The “Saving Private Ryan” actor died in 2023, with some 18 films in various stages of post-production. “American Trash” marks the the directorial debut of Robert LaSardo, known for roles in “Nip/Tuck” and “The Mule,” who stars in and directs from his own screenplay.
The cast also includes Costas Mandylor (“Picket Fences,” “Saw” franchise), Lorelei Linklater (“Boyhood,” “Bomb City”) and Gigi Gustin (“Night of the Missing”).
The film follows Milles (LaSardo), a war veteran with PTSD who finds companionship with Melissa (Linklater), an environmentalist.
