Tom Parker's wife Kelsey bursts into tears as NTAs plays footage from The Wanted doc

Kelsey Parker, the wife of late singer Tom Parker, burst into tears at the National Television Awards as footage from Tom's documentary, Inside My Head, played in Wembley Arena.

The documentary was filmed prior to his tragic death in March of this year.Tom passed away aged 33 after battling with a brain tumour.

His documentary was nominated in the Best Authored Documentary category, alongside Julia Bradbury for Breast Cancer and Me; Katie Price for What Harvey Did Next; Paddy and Christine McGuinness for Our Family and Autism; and Kate Garraway for Caring for Derek – which was the winner.

A clip from Tom's documentary saw him achieving his wish of performing onstage once again with his The Wanted bandmates just a few weeks before he died.
