Tom Holland went through a staggering and dramatic transformation for his latest film role - losing 30lb and gaining it back again.
The Spider-Man actor, 24, stars as an army medic suffering from PTSD in movie Cherry. And it's been revealed that the young star took method acting to the extreme for the crime drama as he made dramatic alterations to his appearance.
Director Joe Russo, who made the movie with his brother Anthony, praised Tom's performance. The 49-year-old told Deadline : "[Tom] really shredded himself for the part.
He lost 30 pounds, he gained it back. We’re on an independent movie schedule here - he didn’t really have a lot of time to be doing these things." Tom has worked with Joe and Anthony, 50, before on MCU movies
