Sony bosses have bumped Tom Hanks’ World War Two movie, Greyhound, to mid-June to capitalize on America’s Father’s Day and Flag Day holidays.
The film was set to hit U.S. cinemas on May 8th, but executives now feel it’s a better fit for June, according to Deadline. Sources insist the rescheduling has nothing to do with coronavirus fears, which have prompted James Bond bosses to move the latest 007 caper, No Time to Die, from April to November – the movie chiefs just think the film is perfectly suited for father-son audiences with a nod to veterans.
