Tom Hanks is weighing in on Disney‘s decision not to cast Tim Allen in Lightyear.

While the 69-year-old actor voiced the iconic character in each of the Toy Story movies, he was not involved with the recently released spinoff.

Both fans and fellow actors have voiced their frustrations with the studio’s choice not to have him reprise the role. Tom, who voiced Woody in the films alongside Tim, recently shared his thoughts on the controversy during an episode of CinemaBlend’s ReelBlend podcast.
