The Tokyo Olympics are kicking off! The Opening Ceremony of the Summer Games, will begin on Friday (July 23), and you can watch it live. (Note: the event is still being referred to as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.) Here’s how to watch… Live coverage will begin at 6:55 a.m.
ET on NBC (Tokyo is 13 hours ahead of the East Coast, and the Opening Ceremony begins at 8 p.m. in Japan), and can also be seen on the NBC Sports app and NBCOlympics.com.
There will be a re-airing at 7:30 p.m. ET later in the evening, plus a special edition of TODAY with interviews and reactions, followed by the Olympic Daytime show.
