The 31-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had the sweets in what looked like a Haribo packet - with an image of teddy bears on the outside.

They had been left, Bolton Crown Court heard, so that three of his children - all aged three or under - could access them. The Bolton man admitted three counts of neglect and causing injury or suffering to a child.
