Former Rangers star Richard Foster has warned new Ibrox recruit Todd Cantwell he shouldn't expect an easy ride in the Scottish Premiership.Cantwell came through the youth ranks at Norwich City and progressed to the first team at Carrow Road, making his first team debut six years ago helping them to promotion to the Premier League and making an impression on the English top flight, but has struggled for form over the last 18 months.
The 24-year-old will now look to kickstart his career north of the border, but Foster has some concerns over the move. The pundit pointed to comparisons to Joey Barton - who proved to be a major flow north of the border after leaving Burnley for a switch to Ibrox.
Barton found himself back at Turf Moor after less than six months in Govan, and Foster reckons Cantwell should learn from the mistakes of the England cap.
Foster told PLZ Soccer: "It all depends on the player himself and what he wants from it. If he comes up here, thinks it's going to be easy and he will be the best player straight away then you'll fail miserably.
