Tina Malone has opened up about her first Christmas without her husband Paul Chase, who she lost to suicide in March.The Shameless actress shared with Closer Magazine that she and her family will be remembering Paul during the festive season by sharing stories about him.Tina also revealed that she and her daughter Flame will be wearing matching Christmas pyjamas and listening to Paul's favourite songs.
She said: "We will raise a glass for him at Christmas lunch and talk about him around the table. We'll play his favourite music and share our favourite stories." Tina admitted that she'd 'never get over' her loss, saying: "The loss and the sorrow of losing Paul is insurmountable, I will never, ever get over it," but added that she needs to be strong for Flame.
Despite the pain, Tina plans to make Christmas "making it magical and special" for her daughter, Flame. She will continue the tradition of wearing matching pyjamas on Christmas Eve, this time with Flame and her mother. "Flame has asked me to buy Paul a pair too, which we will keep with us," she added, reports the Mirror.
Alongside this, Tina, her mother and Flame will be joined for Christmas dinner by Paul’s dad, Ste. In the evening, they’ll also be joined by Paul’s siblings.
