Few parallels can be drawn so far between Timo Werner's time at Chelsea and that of club legend Didier Drogba. While the German striker has struggled to find his feet in England, Drogba is still highly-revered around Stamford Bridge following his two successful spells spanning a total of nine years.
However, it was not always plain sailing for the striker, who struggled himself at the beginning of his Chelsea career and grew into the blue shirt as years went by.
And Werner is now hoping to use his own struggles in his debut campaign as merely a starting point for greater success to emulate his fellow frontman.
