If you’re looking to make a real impact with your hair this Christmas party season, TikTok might have just the exact inspiration you need in the form of a bargain glitter hair product.

You may or may not remember it from your youth, but Claire’s Glitter Hair Spray, currently £2.50 here, is having a resurgence thanks to a host of TikTokers praising it for giving them “magic hair”.

User Nikki (Nikkissecretxx) started the trend with a viral video showing how the product gave her dark hair a mesmerisingly twinkly finish.The video, which has now been liked by 115k people, shows Nikki heading into a Claire’s shop to pick up the silver shade of the glitter spray (it also comes in a gold and an iridescent hue).
