TikToker shares eerie videos of Bangour Village 'ghost town'

With derelict buildings and boarded up windows, videos have emerged of the former Bangour Village Hospital looking like an eerie ghost town that has been frozen in time for decades.An urban explorer has taken viewers on a rare tour of the collection of the crumbling abandoned town that has a haunting history.

Social media user RossToTheMax posted the footage on TikTok of the buildings centred around the general gospital, which once housed hundreds of patients and their carers.

However, anyone who visits the 'lost town' these days are unlikely to see another face on the grounds, Edinburgh Live reports.

Alongside the video, they wrote: “We visited the abandoned Bangour Village outside of Edinburgh. Work began in 1904, and it opened in 1906.
