The owners of the viral jacket potato food truck have offered jobs to members of staff who have been affected by the sudden closure of Almost Famous.
Yesterday, the hit Manchester burger spot announced that all sites have been shut. Owner Beau Myers confirmed the news citing the current economic decline and lingering debt as the reason for the closure of its stores in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
But TikTok sensations Spud Bros have now reached out to staff who have found themselves out of a job. Appearing in a video on the Spud Bros' Tik Tok page, co-owner, Jacob Nelson, spoke about the 'sad news' regarding Almost Famous' closure, recounting his past experience of visiting a Manchester store and praising the company for its quality in product and customer service.
The businessman, who is currently recovering from a hair transplant, then goes on to say that he is aware that former Almost Famous staff are in need of jobs and goes on to make his offer while also breaking the news that the Preston based Spud Bros' is franchising and will soon open a store in Manchester.
