TikTok Restored On Apple's App Store & Google Play Store In US After Temporary Ban

TikTok is available in the US once again! The popular video app was returned the app store on Apple and Google Play on Thursday evening (February 13), following being taken down right before Donald Trump took office once again.

While the app was usable once again, it was not available to download or receive updates, until now. Keep reading to find out more… Earlier in the day, Bloomberg reported that the app would be returned after newly confirmed US Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter reversing the ban.

Shortly after his inauguration, Trump signed an executive order to block the TikTok ban from happening, and delaying it.

This, of course, comes five years after Trump led the charge to ban the app in the US. TikTok’s parent company ByteDance will still need to find a US partner company for the app to remain in use in the US.
