Tiger King's Joe Exotic to launch own radio show from prison after Netflix fame

Joe Exotic is cashing in on his sudden fame following the release of the bizarre Netflix documentary series Tiger King last month.

The former zookeeper, 57, is currently in talks with radio bosses in the US to launch his own show from prison. He is currently serving 22 years behind bars in Texas for animal cruelty and murder for hire after trying to pay a hitman to kill his rival Carole Baskin.

And despite his crimes, he's won legions of fans and is keen to milk his fame for all its worth with a showbiz career, according to his husband Dillon Passage.

He told Metro.co.uk : "This radio station here in the US wants him to have his own radio show from inside the prison. "So we'll see what happens with that.
