Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Tiger King: Michael Jackson's alligators 'were killed in Joe Exotic's studio fire'

John Finlay has spoken about his time at Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park with Joe Exotic, in a new interview. The Tiger King star also revealed that the alligators which were killed in an arson attack in 2015 belonged to late pop legend, Michael Jackson.

Findlay was 'married' to Joe Exotic at the time of filming of Netflix documentary 'Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madnes'. A couple of years later though, life is much different for Finlay, who has nothing more to do with Exotic, who was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his part in a murder-for-hire plot.
