Tiago Gouveia has spoken out on his future amid links with Rangers - with reports now claiming that Benfica are closing the door on a potential exit this summer.
Reports had suggested that the Lisbon giants were willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old with the Scottish Premiership side named as one of three clubs to have spoken with Benfica chiefs over the prospect of taking Gouveia - with Villarreal and Anderlecht the other two said to be in the race.
A Bola now report that clubs in Russia and France are also tracking the £7m-rated star and will join Rangers in attempting to take the versatile wide man on loan - but Benfica are said to only be willing to green light an exit if they find a replacement before the end of the window.
Gouveia - who netted in the 3-0 win over Casa Pia - left the door open to an exit when quizzed on his future. He said: "I'm here every day waiting for opportunities.
