Thug smashes 'weapon' over head of Scots man hospitalised in attack

Arbroath.Emergency services were called to Leonard Street at around 6.55pm on Monday, March 22. A 50-year-old man was badly hurt and rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

Detectives have issued an appeal for help from the public to identify and find the man responsible.Officers believe he spoke with a Glasgow accent and had a shaved haircut.
