A frightened domestic abuse victim feared that she could be killed after abusive ex-boyfriend set fire to her home following a chilling pre-warning her that he was going to "do something she could not come back from".
She was living in a safe house at the time of the incident after suffering at the hands of her former boyfriend, but she was made homeless when "spiteful" Declan Robinson started a fire there is a thought to be suspected "revenge" attack.
The blaze completely destroyed the property, caused up to £31,200 worth of damage and the horrified woman and her young daughter lost their personal belongings, as reported by Hull Live.
The house was still not suitable to live in a year after the fire and it meant that it could not be used for helping victims of domestic abuse, Hull Crown Court heard.
