A vile thug who left his victim to die in a gang robbery has wreaked terror and misery since he was a teenager. Thomas Broadhurst, aged 32, pleaded guilty this week to the manslaughter of Thomas Edmunds, 36.
He assaulted Mr Edmunds in Kirkby during a late night raid at the victim's home on May 9 this year, Liverpool Echo reports. Mr Edmunds died in hospital the next morning, from what a post-mortem investigation found was "asphyxiation".
The details of the fatal robbery, which involved two other men and a teenage boy, have not yet been shared in court.However, the Liverpool Echo can detail how Broadhurst, 32, of Regal Road, Croxteth, has broken the law since the late 2000s.
