dailyrecord.co.ukA man who left multiple threatening and abusive voicemails on his ex-partner’s phone has been jailed.Paul Callaghan called the mother of his child a “f*****g stupid wee cow” just days after Christmas last year.
The 30-year-old appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court from custody due to matters relating to another case at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
The thug admitted that between January 2 and January 4, at a flat in Barochan Crescent in Paisley, he left multiple voicemails on his ex-partner’s phone that were “grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character”.
Procurator fiscal depute, Mr Warner, told the court the couple had been in an on/off relationship for nine years with it coming to an end on December 19 last year.
