Three young men stabbed in unprovoked attack as police say injuries were 'severe and extremely serious'

Glasgow last night were stabbed in an 'unprovoked attack', police have confirmed.Cops have launched an attempted murder probe after the incident which happened at Greenfield Park football pitches in Duror Street at around 8.20pm on Saturday.A group of young people were in the car park area when a group of men attacked them, resulting in three young men being stabbed.

Emergency services raced to the scene and three men, two aged 21 and one aged 19, were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for stab wounds.

Police say the injuries inflicted were "severe and extremely serious" and the gang could have "left them dead". Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and are combing over CCTV images for any relevant information.
