The BBC have confirmed the axe has fallen on three DJs after a huge shake-up at Radio One. The corporation has announced the changes will kick in from January 4.
Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart will air their last shows at the end of this year, it has been announced. Popular Huw has been with Radio One for more than 20 years.
Dev Griffin is also going at the end of 2020, the BBC today confirmed. They have taken the decision to chop the trio to make way for five new presenters in the New Year.
The station's boss Aled Haydn Jones said: "Dev, Huw and Phil have been incredibly valuable members of the Radio 1 family over the years. "They are all excellent broadcasters and I'm pleased we'll be hearing more from Huw and Phil elsewhere on BBC Radio.
