Three men have died after a 4x4 vehicle was recovered from a river in the North Yorkshire Moors. An array of emergency services, including police, ambulance and air support, descended onto the River Esk near Glaisdale before midday on Thursday (December 28).
The vehicle was recovered from the river by the fire service just after 3pm and three men found inside have died, according to North Yorkshire Police.
Another man who attempted to help the people in the vehicle has been pulled to safety from river. Currently, he is receiving medical treatment. Sadly, the three men inside have died. “Another man who attempted to help those in the 4×4 was pulled to safety from the river at around 12.10pm.
