Three Greater Manchester men have appeared in court after disorder erupted in Southport. Violent scenes broke out in the seaside town on July 30, the day after three children were killed in a devastating knife attack.
Merseyside Police has been investigating the incident over the past five weeks, making a series of arrests and charges in connection with the disorder.
Two men from Wigan and one from Manchester are among the latest suspects alleged to have taken place in the violence. The trio were charged this week and have appeared before magistrates.
